Summary

Description
English: Lesotho’s newly elected Prime Minister and diamond mining tycoon Samuel Matekane says he looks to use his vast business experience to make his “Make Lesotho Great Again” mantra a reality.

The Southern African leader is among at least 49 other African heads of state that are in attendance of the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit which is being held in Washington and is focused on strengthening relations and investment opportunities between the U.S. and Africa.

For more on the progress made by Lesotho’s new administration and the importance of the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit, VOA’s Peter Clottey sat down with Matekane.
