English: An incomplete and corroded Medieval cast copper alloy component of a horse harness pendant. In plan the object is comprised of an openwork elaborate sexfoil shape. One of the foils is modified to form an extended narrow slot, at the top of which is a stub that is probably the remnant of a suspension loop. On the front side of the pendant the internal face of each foil is chamferred at approximately 45 degrees. A related configuration of pendant is illustrated in Read, Metal Artefacts of Antiquity (2001) p58 No.469 and is dated to the 14th century. The pendant is 55.72 mm long, 35.96 mm wide, 3.63 mm thick and weighs 15.51 grams.
