Summary

Description I've never heard of or seen it in use. I always see it parked in this same spot at Central Base right outside the operations building. (Original uploader linked http://transit.metrokc.gov/am/vehicles/merv.html for documentation, which is no longer a good domain; http://metro.kingcounty.gov/am/vehicles/merv.html is blank. According to https://web.archive.org/web/20090402204942/http://transit.metrokc.gov/am/vehicles/merv.html (an archive of the originally linked page), it was acquired in 2005 with a Department of Homeland Security grant and was "designed to serve as a field incident command and communications center in the event of a major emergency or security incident.")
