St Peter's Church, Hockwold cum Wilton, Norfolk - mural monument, north side of chancel, erected by Mrs Mary Wyche both to her mother and husband, who both died in 1719 (old style), her mother Mrs Mary Hungerford on 21 August 1719 and her husband Jermyn Wyche died 5 months later on 7 January 1720 (1719 old style). Jermyn Wyche (c.1670-1720), of Hockwold, MP for Fowey in Cornwall, married Mary Hungerford, daughter and heiress of John Hungerford of the Temple, London, by whom he had an only son and heir, Cyril Wyche. Monument sculpted by Robert Singleton of Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. "Two busts stand on gadrooned plinth before still life of putti with muscial instruments. This framed by two composite columns. Beyond these to right and left two cherubs stand on plinth before composite pilasters. Inscription in apron below busts" (Source: Listed building text[2]).
