English: Old Somerfield Store This was the first supermarket in Aberystwyth. Somerfield have moved to a new location nearby and the building is being converted for Matalan.
The car park and retail building occupy the site of the 2nd Vale of Rheidol Railway terminus which was opened by the Great Western Railway in 1926. In 1968, the terminus was moved again, to its third and current location (the other side of the wall seen in this view).
