Summary

Description
English: Pictured is a Corporal from the Household Cavalry taking aim with his SA-80 A3 whilst deployed on Op TORAL.

Operation TORAL is the codename for the United Kingdom’s contribution to the NATO mission called, RESOLUTE SUPPORT, a multi-national coalition helping Afghanistan to take control of its own security and establish its place in the international community.

The role of the troops is vastly different to a few years ago during Operation HERRICK in the southern province of Helmand when UK forces went head to head fighting the Taliban.
