Summary

Description
English: Peene Railway Museum, near Newington, Kent. The railway museum in the tiny hamlet of Peene commemorates the one-time Elham Valley Railway which ran from Cheriton Junction (its site now lost under the Eurotunnel terminal) to Canterbury. It closed completely in 1947. The actual course of the line runs just down the road from the museum. In contrast to this bucolic scene, the Eurotunnel terminal is right behind the museum.
