Покров 1592 (?). Москва, мастерская Ирины Федоровны Годуновой (?) Атлас, шелк; шитье золотными, серебряными и шелковыми нитями. 196,5 х 107 Происходит из Соловецкого монастыря Пост. в 1923 из Соловецкого монастыря через ГМФ Рест. в 1933 в ГРМ А. Н Суворовой, повторно в 1963

В музейных собраниях Москвы и Петербурга сохранилось пять лицевых покровов с изображением митрополита Филиппа. Самым ранним из известных сегодня является покров из ГРМ — памятник высочайшего художественного уровня и музейного достоинства. Образ митрополита Филиппа на нем соответствует рекомендациям иконописного подлинника. В среднике изображен святитель в полном архиерейском облачении, по кайме вязью с выносными буквами тонко «прописаны» тропарь и кондак. Лик и руки исполнены «атласным швом» без оттенений «миниатюрными» стежками. Особенная «нежность и мягкость» образного решения, свобода в рисунке и мастерское исполнение произведения позволили Л. Д. Лихачевой отнести его к работам светлиц царицы Ирины Федоровны Годуновой и датировать 1590-ми годами. Н. А. Маясова, отмечая бесспорные профессиональные достоинства памятника, датирует его 1650-ми годами, временем царя Алексея Михайловича.
