View is looking lakewards on Poydras Avenue from the 800 block. Intersection with Baronne Street at center. Shows street before section was widened, and before the renovation of the De Soto (Le Pavillon) Hotel which gave it a new facade and moved the main entrance from Baronne to Poydras. Auto parking lot seen at bottom left. Back right distance can be seen the government building complex around Duncan Plaza.
