Summary

Description

Space-filling model of a propylene molecule, H2C=CH–CH3 i.e. C3H6, as found in the gas phase by a combination of gas electron diffraction (GED) and microwave spectroscopy. The C=C bond length is 1.341 Å, the C–C bond length is 1.506 Å and C=C–C bond angle is 124.3°. The structural parameters are from the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, 97th edition (2016), page 9–49.
