Qqsoor Al Moqbil belongs to Dhurma Governorate. It's populations is coming from clan of Bani Tamim. Although many families claimed by Al Moqbil , the most popular are Al Moqbil , people of the palaces. That was named with palace as these people were distributed in palaces in the past.

مدينة قصور آل مقبل تتبع لمحافظة ضرما. و يعتبر سكانها هم من قبيلة المقبل من النواصر من بني تميم ورغم كثرة الأسر التي تدعى بـ ال مقبل الا أن أشهرهم هم المقبل اهل القصور ويعرفون بـ(آل مقبل اهل القصور) ويعود سبب التسمية بالقصور لأن أفراد تلك الأسرة كانوا يتوزعون في تلك المنطقة في قصور كبيرة على وقتها
