Български: Национален исторически музей Севтополски надпис, мрамор, края на IV в. пр. Хр., открит в светилището на двореца в Севтополис, оригиналът е в Археологически Исторически Музей (АИМ) - София; Икономическите и политическите отношения с гръцкия свят през V - IV в. пр. Хр. довеждат до прерастването на някой тракийски селища в градски и търговски центрове (Филиполис, Кабиле, Дронгилон, Мастейра, Хелис, и други). Появяват се и нови градове (Севтополис). Севтополски, столицата на Севт III (330 - около 300 г. пр. Хр.), бил построен по предварителен план, съчетал сленистическото градоустройство и архитектура с тракийските традиции. В укрепената резиденция на владетеля се намирал храмът на Великите самотракийски божества. На централния площад се намирал храм на Дионис. Жилищата били двуетажни, с обширни дворове. Градът бил укрепен с крепостна стена.
От края на VI до I в. пр. Хр. тракийските земи са арена на събития, които оставят траийни слеги в историята на антична Европа - военни походи на Ахеменидска Персия, нахливания на скитите, кратковреманне власт на македони и келти. През този период на политическата карта на Балканския полуопстров се появяват тракийските царства, най-значими от които са царствата на одриси, гети и трибали. |
