Description
English: Short-billed dowitcher with Red Knot in the background. This Short-billed Dowitcher is in the process of changing plumages. The red feathers are an earlier generation of feathers that were grown in April or May. The gray feathers are a new generation of feathers and cover the bird beginning in August.
