Description
English: The Khalsa Diwan Society of Sikhs in front of the Sikh Temple at 2nd Avenue in Vancouver. Dating: This photograph is unlikely to date to 1910 for the following reason: the mural of Guru Nanak is on the building. It is unknown when the mural of Guru Nanak was added to the edifice of the building but it was originally absent from the original building. It was perhaps added during a renovation in circa the 1920's–1940's, as the mural is not seen in a photograph of the building during the Jaito Morcha-era in ca.1924–25, this photograph must have been taken after then at-least.
