English: Society of Philatelic Americans 10-cent 1937 U.S. souvenir sheet, issued to mark the annual convention of the Society of Philatelic Americans (originally named the Southern Philatelic Society; defunct since the early 1980s), held in Asheville, North Carolina on August 26-28, 1937. The imperforate sheet reproduced the 10-cent National Parks stamp of 1934 in blue green color rather than the original gray-black. The stamp shows a scene from Great Smoky Mountains National Park, located near Asheville. |
