Summary

Description
English: Situational weather map on the 19th of August 2005 over the Great Lakes bassin. A low pressure of Wisconsin brings an airmass containing 40 to 50 mm of precipitable water while a cold front extending toward the southwest, a low level jet-stream and the left entrance of and upper air jet will all serve as triggers for strong convection. The result will be lines of thundertorms over Southern Ontario, some of which will give tornadoes and/or heavy downpours. Maps done using National Weather Service and Meteorological Service of Canada climatological data.
