Summary

Description St Michael and All Angels, Barton-le-Street, Yorkshire, England. Built 1869-1871 to the design of William Perkin. Listed building, grade II*. Over 300 pieces of medieval sculpture from a previous church were incorporated, and further architectural sculpture was added by Charles Mawer of Leeds. Stained glass, illustrating Jesus.
