English: Heritage Town – 1572 Casa Real - Municipal Government of Taal, Escuela Pia - Taal Cultural Center, Taal Town Plaza & Basketball Court and the 1923 Rizal College of Taal/beside/adjacent - in front of the --- Basilica de San Martin de Tours (Taal)[1]Basilica de San Martin de Tours is a Minor Basilica in the town of Taal, Batangas in the Philippines, within the Archdiocese of Lipa. It is considered to be the largest church in the Philippines and in Asia, standing 96 metres (315 ft) long and 45 metres (148 ft) wide. St. Martin of Tours is the patron saint of Taal, whose fiesta is celebrated every November 11. It is under Metropolitan Archbishop Ramon Cabrera Argüelles of Lipa City, Batangas[2] It belongs to the [3] Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lipa - Vicariate II: Vicariate of Saint John Mary Vianney. Taal, Batangas[4]Taal is a second class municipality in the province of Batangas, Philippines. According to the latest census, it has a population of 51,459 people in 8,451 households.
