Norsk bokmål: Ingeborg var datter av Carl Oscar Eugen Arbo og Jenny Karin, hennes bror var den kjente arkitekten Christian Fredrik Arbo. Hun startet som veverske og seinere i karrieren jobbet hun ved Den Norske Husflidsforening. I 1900 deltok hun på Verdensutstillingen i Paris, sammen med Ingrid Klingenberg og Eugenie Faye-Hansen. Sammen fikk de sølvmedalje for sine vevede tepper. I 1901 opprettet hun Foreningen for anvendt kunst sammen med Marie Karsten, Ingrid Klingenberg og Lilly Hansen. Dette skulle bli forløperen til Foreningen Brukskunst. Hun bodde opprinnelig i Drammen men senere ble hun fast boende i Oslo.
Maleriet er signert I. Arbo og var til salgs på Blomqvists nettauksjon i september 2023. Da titulert "Kvinne i blå kjole, 1932". Olje på lerret, 60 x 75 cm. Vurdering: 3000,- til 4000,- kr.
