| Description |
English: The Black & Silver flag is a proposed alternative New Zealand flag submitted for the Flag Consideration Process in 2015-2016. It is the culmination of over thirty years work by John Ansell, with more recent involvement by Kenneth Wang and Grant McLachlan. John Ansell's flag design won him a Colenso Scholarship to New York in 1986 and in 1990 came second out of 600 alternative flag designs in a Listener contest to mark New Zealand’s sesquicentennial. |
