detailed, it will be sufficient to say that he wasentertained in Radnorshire at Presteign, on the 4th of August; on the5th, having crossed the river Wye at Whitney Ford or Ferry, in hischariot, at the castle of Hay in Brecknockshire; and at the priory ofBrecknock, where he stayed two nights, and in which town the author,among other gentlemen of the Dukes retinue, was admitted a Burgess ;and on the 7th at the Earl of Carberries famous seat called GoldenGrove,having passed through the town of Llandinonaure, where, forabout an English mile, the road and streets were strewed with rushes,to receive him. This Horn was presented by himself to this noble family, now Earles of Carbery,where it hath remained ever since, and is kept among the noble Earles choicestraritys. The foot is of silver in form of a mount, upon which stand a Dragon andGreyhound of the same mettall, in imitation of the Supporters of the Royall Arms ofHenry VII. which are drawn below, shewing the dexter side a Red Dragon, theensigne of Cadwalader the last King of the Britains, from whom by a male line
