English: Kondapak is about 90 kilometers northeast of Hyderabad on the way to Siddipet. It is home to several ruins, important inscriptions and two historic Hindu Shiva temples. It is not to be confused with the similarly spelled Kondapaka site that is 100 kilometers east of this village and about 45 kilometers east of Karimnagar.
The Trikuteswara temple is another historic temple but was in ruins through the 2010s. Now under restoration, the temple is being put back together with modern concrete cast walls and recovered ruin sections inserted in different parts of the temple.
The temple's plan is largely the original, one with three sanctums sharing a common main mandapa. However, the main Nandi is missing and the faux pillars are plain. None of the sanctum's have the original Shiva linga or sections. The outer walls and much of the interior is not original, but a modernistic re-imagination.
Some important original ruins remain. These include the lengthy inscriptions basalt panels found here in the courtyard.
Within about a mile of the village are two other important inscribed boulders, with large Canarese inscriptions. One to its northeast and another southwest on Mahalesvara hillock, on boulders somewhat in the middle of empty terrain. Based on what these inscriptions state, it is likely that there were many more and larger monuments in Kondapak that have been lost to history.
