Description
English: Pictured are Typhoon FGR4 aircraft from 12 Squadron with VIP’s occupying the rear seats of the two twin-seat Typhoon FGR4 aircraft.

The Qatari Deputy Prime Minister & The Minister of State for Defence took to the skies above the UK in two twin-seat Typhoon FGR4 aircraft from 12 Squadron, in order for a capability demonstration to be conducted.

During this flight, the aircraft formed up with an RAF Voyager aircraft from 101 Squadron, based at Brize Norton. Whilst alongside, the aircraft conducted air-to-air refuelling.

12 Squadron are the RAF's first joint squadron since World War II, with pilots and engineers from the Qatar Emiri Air Force embedded within its ranks.
