Description
English: Ugali is a staple food in East Africa. It is made from crushed maize grain and is mostly taken with traditional vegetables as well as cabbage or sukuma wiki. It serves to be the best meal for the kenyans since it comes at an affordable price given that maize is grown in most parts of the country during the rainy season. The crop is harvested when dry and stored for long use. Tillapia is served mostly with ugali and serves a a very delicious food for the foreigners as well as the citizens who once in a while can afford to purchase the fish fro lake victoria.
