Description


  • English: A sliver of Donjek Glacier can be seen in the distance, behind the row of trees in the middle of the photo. The third straight day of a Yukon heat wave have melted the glaciers considerably, the route along the river bank is no longer possible because the flood plain is flooded. EXIF date is incorrect - taken in July 2002, per photographer's Donjek Trek July 2002 Flickr album.
  • Français : Une bande de glacier Donjek est visible au loin derrière la rangée d'arbres au milieu de la photo. Au bout de trois jours de chaleur dans le Yukon, les glaciers ont considérablement fondus. L'itinéraire le long du fleuve n'est plus pratiquable car la plaine est inondée.
