File talk:Daylight Length.svg
Hi Thesevenseas, Very nice figure for the length of daylight, but isn't there a mistake ? I don't get why we would have such a dysymmetry between North and South. Aren't "equinox points" supposed to be at the same date for North Pole and South Pole ? Cheers, Erwan —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikiwanito (talk • contribs) 12:48, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
- The asymmetry is between day and night not north and south. The graph is symmetrical for north and south. This can be seen more clearly be shifting the graph by half a year and flipping it horizontally. Hope this helps. ]
- Thanks for your answer. My bad, I misread the caption and missed the -6 degrees elevation thing ! (now I understand why we have more than 12 hours of daylight on the equator line on the figure !). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikiwanito (talk • contribs) 17:01, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
