The brown region labeled "Lithuania" is not Lithuania. I'm not sure what is it supposed to be, it looks quite random. It consists of Old Livonia and Ingria, although those wouldn't be under the same rulership (Sweden) until the Livonian War (1558 - 1583), which would be later than both of the dates stated (1445 & 1495). Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (sometimes referred to as only "Poland" but almost never as simply "Lithuania") would rule Southern Livonia for a time after the later Livonian War (1558 - 1583), but not Ingria or the parts of Livonia that constitute Northern Estonia today - which are also included in the brown area. The Grand Duchy of Lithuania could be referred to as Lithuania, but would be only a part of P-L C, and wouldn't include at any time almost any of the brown area.

So that makes me wonder if all of the map might be more or less random. --VillemVillemVillem (talk) 15:52, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes that Lithuania located at Estonia place. This image is wrong!--85.253.60.7 (talk) 10:23, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
*Sigh* the image still hasn't been corrected after all these years... --Dorpater (talk) 22:24, 27 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It's probably just a typo, someone put "Lithuania" instead of "Livonia". The area closely corresponds to Livonian Confederation (1435 - 1559). Nothern Estonia did belong to Livonia since 1383 when it was acquired from Denmark, so I see no controversy here, I would just change the label. -- Beil (talk) 16:15, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It is not a typo. The events took place in Lithuania, not Livonia. Lihtuania lay south of historical Livonia. --Vihelik (talk) 20:06, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Date and color in Spain are not correct

The map shows the Eastern part of Spain in red and says "Spain 1492". However, at that time Spain didn't really exist per se: most of present-day Spain was made up by the Kingdom of Castile and Aragon, from which Jews were expelled in 1492. Therefore, I feel like the color red is misleading since it doesn't include most of Castile. Also, at that time the Kingdom of Navarre existed, from which Jews were expelled in 1498; in the map the area of Navarre is in red and conflated with Spain and 1492, which is inaccurate. Could anyone correct it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wayratuta (talkcontribs) 17:55, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
