I removed the non-free reduce template, I do not think it applies here. I am not an expert in US copyright law, but I believe the image is already a major reduction of the original, as it is only a tiny extract, a small part of one page of a massive orchestral music score that runs to many pages. I quote from the fair use rationale I originally gave: "I believe that this use of the excerpt exhibits good faith, in that its inclusion enhances rather than reduces the commercial value of the product from which it was drawn." In no way could it act as a replacement for the original. It is an important inclusion at the article on its composer, since it is discussed at length in the text as a perfect illustration of his aleatory techniques. At its current resolution it is already not easy to read; if its resolution were reduced further its educational/informative benefit would be considerably reduced. Such impairment of this musical extract would be pointless. --RobertGtalk 11:08, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
