It would be better to remove South Africa and Namibia from this map. The article about Dutch incorrectly stated that Dutch is spoken in South Africa and Namibia as Afrikaans.
Though both Afrikaans and modern Dutch are descendents of 17th century Dutch, they have diverged sufficiently to be fairly different languages.
Dutch in Canada
Dutch should be considered as a minority language in Canada as well as the United States, there are a large number of Dutch speakers in Canada; as a reference look up the documentary "Across the Atlantic". I am sure after some research you will agree that Canada deserves a "green dot" as well as the United States.
