This map has several errors:
1. It confuses the Early Rig Vedic Period with the post Rig Vedic or Mahajanapada period, and mixes elements of the two. It also fails to mention that this map is of the post-vedic period, which was very different from the Early or the Vedic period. 2. It fails to show several key Mahajanapada states, e.g. the Vatsa kingdom, and replaces them with other kingdomes, e.g, the Kaushika kingdom.(Awadhi (talk) 18:41, 4 June 2012 (UTC))
