Gillsville is a city in Banks and Hall counties in the U.S. state of Georgia. The population was 235 at the 2010 census.[4]

History

The community was named after the local Gills family.[5]

In the city, the population was spread out, with 20.0% under the age of 18, 7.7% from 18 to 24, 27.2% from 25 to 44, 25.6% from 45 to 64, and 19.5% who were 65 years of age or older.
