Biography

Ali was born in Fiq, Golan Heights,[1] then his family was forced to move to Damascus after Israel occupied that region.[2] He graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1986.[3]

He's best known for his work on the TV series

He died on 29 December 2020, at the age of 58, in Cairo, Egypt, after suffering a

Bab al-Saghir cemetery in Damascus.[5] His final acting appearance before his death was in the Canadian film Peace by Chocolate.[6]
