Robert John Gurney Anderson (16 June 1925 – 11 January 2005), known as Ian Anderson, was a

President of the Legislative Council of the Isle of Man

Mr Anderson was born in Glencross,

Governor, President of the Legislative Council. He served until 1990 when the constitution was altered and Sir Charles Kerruish

became ex officio President. Ian Anderson also held many Ministerial-level appointments during his career. He died on 11 January 2005.
