Jean Filliozat (4 November 1906 in
Tibetan and Tamil. He wrote some important works on the history of Indian medicine. He taught at Collège de France
from 1952 to 1978.
Biography
Jean Filliozat became a medical doctor in 1930, and was awarded a diploma from the
Societe Asiatique
in 1974.
He was a member of the
Legion d'honneur
.
