Kanta Tyagi is an Indian social worker and the director of the Kasturba Vanvasi Kanya Ashram, a

Sardar Sarovar Project, a part of the Narmada Control Authority (NCA).[4] She received the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award from the Government of India in 1998 for her services to the rural community.[5] She is also a recipient of the Janaki Devi Bajaj Award (2002) of the Indian Merchants Chambers Ladies’ Wing.[1]
