Khubsoorat (transl. Beautiful) is a 1980 Indian

Lakshmi Vandhachu,[2] and in Malayalam as Vannu Kandu Keezhadakki.[3] The 2014 film of the same name was loosely based on it.[4] The 2023 film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani directed by Karan Johar also drew heavily from it.[5][6]

Hrishikesh Mukherjee won the 1981 Filmfare Award for Best Film. Rekha won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her role as Manju Dayal. Dina Pathak received a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Nirmala Gupta.

Plot

. Nirmala gets tensed but Manju acts timely and saves Dwaraka Prasad. At last, Nirmala understands Manju's character. However, when Inder and other family members return home, Manju leaves the house but Inder follows her to the railway station with Nirmala who stops her. In the end, Inder and Manju get married.
