Gay and Lesbian American Music Awards
The Gay & Lesbian American Music Awards spanned five years and provided the foundation for the recognition of the excellence of LGBT artists. The first awards covered an eligibility period of June 1, 1995, through May 31, 1996, with a ceremony held on October 6.
