Mythology

Melanthus was among the descendants of

".

Melanthus fled to

Thrasylus as his source, Codrus and Melanthus also trace their descent from Poseidon.[3]

Melanthus was also a shipmate of Acoetes who attempted to kidnap Dionysus.
