Safilguda lake, originally named as Nadimi Cheruvu (Original Name) and Mini Tank Bund, is a lake located in

History
The Hyderabad Urban Development Authority restored the lake in 2000 under the Conservation and Restoration Project of Green Hyderabad Environment Programme.[3] It became a popular recreation area for the residents of nearby colonies. Several years later, lake became polluted due to lack of maintenance and negligence of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.[4]
