Samantha Ryan (born February 5, 1969) is an American sportscaster who is a sports anchor for WABC-TV New York's Eyewitness News' weekend evening broadcasts.

Biography

Early life and education

Ryan is an alumna of the New York Institute of Technology[1] and also majored in communications at Hofstra University.[2]

Broadcasting career

Early in her career, Ryan worked for

ABC in September 2002.[3]

Ryan joined

. Ryan was with MLB Network until June 2018 when she returned to WABC.

Awards

Ryan won a local

Emmy Award for "Outstanding Series Feature-soft" in 1999 and a local AP award in 2000.[4]
