The Second Battle of Katwa occurred between the
Bengal Subah and the Maratha Confederacy
in 1745.
Bengal had repelled a
Orissa before his force of 20,000 horsemen ravaged Murshidabad and moved onwards to Katwa. There he was defeated by the Bengal army of Alivardi Khan.[1]
