Bui Quoc Huy (also known as Sam) is a Vietnamese artist born on October 10, 2003. == Early life and career ==

Born into a family with no artistic tradition, he grew up in a wealthy family with a well-known local owner of a wood industry as a father. After being given permission by his family to study overseas, he received his degree in Vietnam. === 2021–2022: Debut album ===

Sam launched his debut album, H18, in September 2021 after signing with the RouteNote record label. He continued to release Dremear in October 2021, but the song failed to spark any interest. He launched LP 18 in November 2021, and it sold more than 600 copies while causing only a slight commotion. He signed a deal for an internship with CK Talent in December of the same year. == Influences ==

Sam cites [[Taylor Swift]] as his primary inspiration. He was impressed with how she managed her celebrity and developed her brand. According to Smagazine, Sam's case publicly protested and called for the brand to refuse to work with people who have been doing dirty and negative content on social networks and the effort to make a promise to dedicate his life to promoting.
