Ray Mueller is an American politician and attorney serving as a member of the San Mateo County,[1] elected in 2022[2] for district 3, which includes the cities of Atherton, southeast Belmont, Half Moon Bay, Menlo Park, Pacifica, Portola Valley, San Carlos, Woodside and the unincorporated areas of Devonshire Canyon, El Granada, Emerald Lake Hills, Kings Mountain, La Honda, Ladera, Loma Mar, Los Trancos Woods, Miramar, Montara, Moss Beach, Palomar Park, Pescadero, Princeton By-The-Sea, San Gregorio, Skyline, Skylonda, Stanford Lands, Vista Verde, and West Menlo Park.[3][4]

Career

In 2012,[5] Ray Mueller ran for city council in Menlo Park and was elected at-large in 2012[6][7]and 2016.[8][9] In 2020,[10] he was elected to represent District 5.[11] In 2022, Mueller ran[12] for the District 3[13] seat on the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors[14] formerly held by Don Horsley,[15] and was elected[16] with 62.2 percent[17] of the vote.
