Daddy Cool is a 2009 Malayalam film starring Mammootty. The film was the directorial debut of Aashiq Abu.

Plot

Mammootty plays the best, coolest daddy in the world. He’s the kind of father who would much rather spend time with his six-year-old son than do his job. And being a Crime Branch Police Officer, his rather laid-back attitude is not appreciated by his peers and superiors. Daddy Cool however, is undeterred! Also playing substantial roles in the movie are Biju Menon, Vijayaraghavan and Baburaj.

The story line of the film is the escapades of a cricket crazy kid, all of eight years and his father, a cop. Antony Simon (

Govind Padmasurya) and that changes their lives forever. Radhika and Biju Menon
play a couple in the film.
