It is also the nearest MRT station towards the

. Currently before this future MRT station opens, these existing stations at Ang Mo Kio, Woodlands and Choa Chu Kang would serve as the nearest MRT stations at the Mandai Road area towards the zoo, with respective bus services, 138, 926 & 927 provided.
