Club career

On 1 September 2022, Posch joined

Bologna on loan with an option to buy and a conditional obligation to buy.[5] On 31 May 2023, the transfer was made permanent.[6]

International career

Posch made his Austria national football team debut on 10 June 2019 in a Euro 2020 qualifier against North Macedonia, as a half-time substitute for Aleksandar Dragović.[7]
