SIA

I converted this to an

WP:SIA, and only after that saw I'd done this before and it had been undone. If kept as a dab we already have WPS so if I understand correctly as a dab this should be merged there? As a useful SIA, it can be kept separate. (that's just one aspect of dab vs SIA). Widefox; talk 11:21, 24 July 2015 (UTC)[reply

Why do you think that .wps and WPS can't exist as separate dab pages? (with appropriate cross-links) There are several advantages of it being a dab (any inlinks get detected/fixed, things that aren't file extensions could be added, guidelines for dabs are well-developed, consistency with .abc etc ...); are there any advantages in it being a SIA? My understanding is
WP:INCDAB means we should merge if we keep as a dab. I personally don't like SIAs but the choice as I see it is 1. merge into WPS or 2. SIA. What do others think? Widefox; talk 22:10, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply

Acronyms and file extension are two very different thing in my eye. It should be converted back into a disambiguation. — Dispenser 16:00, 13 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
