Sloppy wording about oxidation of axial/equatorial alcohol

"The proposition was that the large hydroxyl group in the axial position was disfavored and formed the carbonyl more readily to relieve this strain." This is a thermodynamic argument and should be clarified to make it kinetic in nature. Zhelu (talk) 17:25, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
