Dear Wikipedia folks,

Hope all is well.

As I’m working as a social media coordinator at Al Ain Wildlife Public Institution (Al Ain Zoo), and since we are going under some refurbishment, I’m working on updating the zoo information on Wikipedia pages both the Arabic and the English. I tried so many times to edit the information, but it says that I’m making a major change and it is not possible to accept the changes. But when I made minor changes, it did accepted it, and it was shown to the public, but after 1 day only, the page returns as it was before the editing. As for the Arabic page, for both the major and minor changes, the page didn’t accept my changes. I do understand that any article goes under proving process. but how can editors check the accuracy of the info if the organization didn’t publish and update the info itself. Knowing that, the current info is very old and there is so much more to tell people about Al Ain Zoo.

On the other hand, we created an account named: Al Ain Zoo, and tried to edit, create a subpage, change the setting, all didn’t work out, and worse, the account had been blocked yesterday July8,2013.

I have read people’s questions, but I couldn’t find an answer. Would you kindly give Al Ain zoo a full access to Al Ain Zoo pages on both Arabic and English pages to update the info when needed.

We appreciate your editing effort and highly respect your policy, but please the pages need to be updated from our side as we are the main source.
