Major Changes

  • What I think should be changed (include citations):

Financial Highlights 

The financial highlights need to be updated in accordance with the published accounts and specific numbers that bound to change every month are recommended to be removed like Total Assets and Net revenue, we intend to link it with current financials.

History

The ranking mention on the history is changed with time and needs to be updated, instead we only want to mention that it oldest commercial bank developed in 1942.

Branch Network has been updated with 1425+ and bifurcation of Islamic and conventional branch has to be updated [1].

New section to be added Products and Services being offered by Allied bank is missing and a single look of the products offered with Digital Technology deployed by the bank should be added, referring to the product mention in financial statements.

Another section to be added for Green Banking initiative has been taken by the bank which need to be added to the page, which have been printed in latest Annual Report and also appreciated by "The Bankers" when considering for "The Bankers award Bank of the year 2022"[2]

Following Awards to be added:

Allied bank has recently received The Banker Award for 2022 [3], The Bank won “Best Domestic Bank in Pakistan” in year 2022[4] & “Best Bank in Pakistan” in year 2020 by FinanceAsia Country Awards [5], Credit Rating as to be updated to 2021 report[6], VIS Credit Rating Company Limited assigned Corporate Governance Rating to be added[7].

The Bank was awarded “Best Place to Work” in Financial Service& “Best Place to Work - Top 10 in Large Organization” by Pakistan Society of Human Resource Management[Best work place 1], Asia money Awards has always acknowledged the Bank’s performance and awarded ABL with Best bank for SMEs (Small to Medium Enterprises) in 2022[8], Best bank for CSR in 2021[9], & 2018 [10], Best Corporate and Investment Bank in Pakistan in 2017 [11]. Euromoney Magazine UK, awarded “Best Bank in Pakistan” Award in 2018" [12], Asset Triple A awarded the Bank with Best Structured Finance Deal in 2021 [13], Best Corporate and Institutional Bank (Domestic, Pakistan) & Best Loan Adviser in 2017[14].

sentence case unless they are proper nouns. example: "bank", "financial service", "annual report", "Allied Bank". Make sure awards are significant. There are many vanity press awards available for a few rupees. Define acronyms such as SME (many uses here) before using them. Example: Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). Sshah0416362, I encourage you to carefully read through all of the feedback Adakiko has provided, because many of the suggested changes have not been addressed above (e.g. use of ampersands, trimming awards, spelling out abbreviations - what is "VIS"?, among others). Furthermore, when Adakiko mentions "change X to Y", it is very helpful and encouraged to list the relevant sentence from the current article, as well as the proposed change, so that editors can compare these side-to-side.
